Message from the President of Skål International Osaka

As President of Skål International Osaka, it is my great pleasure to share a message with our members and friends around the world.

Skål International is a global association of travel and tourism professionals that encourages and creates a strong network of friendship and business across the world. With approximately 12,000 members in around 300 local clubs across 75 countries, it remains the only international organization that unites all branches of the travel and tourism industry — from hospitality and transportation to travel services, media, and wellness.

Skål International Osaka was established in 1967 and will proudly celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2027. For nearly six decades, our club has played an important role in connecting tourism leaders in Kansai and beyond, fostering the spirit of “Doing Business Among Friends.”

Today, Skål International continues to evolve, strengthening its global presence and embracing a new generation of tourism professionals while maintaining the values of friendship, professionalism, and collaboration that define our organization.

Osaka itself is entering an exciting new era. Following the World Expo 2025, the city has become an even more attractive destination for international tourism and global business exchange. With ongoing innovation in hospitality, culture, wellness, and sustainable tourism, Osaka stands at the forefront of Japan’s tourism future.

In this dynamic and ever-evolving city, we at Skål International Osaka hope to deepen friendships within the tourism industry, expand meaningful business connections, and contribute to the continued growth of global tourism.
